Shopian, 23rd February 2025: the District Congress Committee Shopian, under the leadership of Women’s Wing President Shubnam Akther and Vice President Syed Mubashir Bashir, held a meeting at Herman, Shopian, in collaboration with Jacy Jan, Block President of the Women’s Wing, Herman.
The meeting focused on the challenges faced by women across the Kashmir Valley. Shubnam Akther urged women to join hands with the Congress Party and take leadership roles in their communities. Jacy Jan emphasized unity among female workers to strengthen their collective efforts. Syed Mubashir Bashir highlighted the party’s dedication to women’s empowerment and overall development.
All members raised their voices to address various issues, including IAY cases, marriage assistance, healthcare, education, and other pressing concerns in District Shopian. The gathering reaffirmed the party’s commitment to resolving these problems and promoting women’s rights and social welfare.
